👤 The Role
The fund now seeks to bolster the team with a high-calibre investment analyst to drive analyses, support sourcing, and provide insights for investment decisions across our pipeline and portfolio. This is an entry-level position with a capacity to grow. You will have the opportunity to work closely with all members of the investment team as well as our strategic partners and top VC firms around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain a deep exposure to the inner workings of how startups successfully scale
💪 Responsibilities
1. Deal Sourcing & Origination
Research potential deal opportunities, stakeholders, and trends across specified sectors and stages Identify and engage those potential deal opportunities that align with fund’s investment mandate
Support the team on the process of a deal closing, i.e. assessing an investment opportunity, conducting Due Diligence (DD), preparing investment memorandum, interacting with experts and much more
2. Portfolio Management
Work across investment deals to track and support proper investment operations process
Participate in tracking and analysis of portfolio companies’ performance
Support the organization and maintenance of a database of information on portfolio companies, leads and pipeline
Participate in the preparation of quarterly reports to the investors
Support the team on the community development
3. Research
Prepare presentations on market opportunities, competitive landscape and investment analysis
Participate in research on verticals, client behaviour and new trends
Identity and facilitate research opportunities aligned with the fund’s investment priorities
🎯 Requirements
Graduate of a top college/university (tech or business degree)
1-2 years of experience in IB (M&A), PE, VC, Big4 (corporate finance, valuation), corporate development of tech companies or other relevant fields
Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn
Ability to learn complex concepts fast
Advanced level of English is a must
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Team player who possesses intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and attention to details
Willing to occasionally work some late evenings, some early mornings on an ad-hoc basis
As our team is spread worldwide, it is important that you are able to organize your time in line with the fund’s priorities and stay motivated and focused while working remotely
