Senior Associate / Associate Director Debt Capital Markets — Top-5 UAE Bank

Play an integral role in the running and growth of the bank’s DCM business with a special focus on the origination and execution of primary market debt capital market instruments in the CIS and Caucasus Eurobond markets. Opportunity to gain experience and exposure also to other markets.

Origination

• Be an integral part of deal origination efforts by coordinating with the Senior Originators and Head of DCM. Eventually graduate to own a client relationship base with deeper coverage.

• Manage an active pitch pipeline and be responsible for preparation of high-quality pitch materials (across varying scopes of work including and not limited to ratings, ESG, DCM execution and pricing, liability management and private placements).

• Remain abreast of market dynamics and relevant news, on a real time basis, which may be of interest to clients

• Maintain materials & databases of relevant information viz: issuance to date, news, markets, league table, other DCM related statistics to promote the bank’s DCM business

• Ensure regular issuance of client market updates

• Supporting Senior Originators in coverage of sectors / countries from an origination perspective

• Ensure timely and appropriate marketing of DCM deals internally and externally

Execution

• Full responsibility of ensuring end to end DCM documentation and adherence to internal documentation requirements

• Work with external resources to ensure a high-quality offering circular in the private or public market as warranted.

• Ensure the validity and legality of all transaction documentation

• Secure timely credit/other internal approvals and, where necessary, work with relevant sector teams to obtain these in a swift and smooth manner

• Assist the team, DCM Head and Investment Banking Head in preparation of any internal pitches or materials that may be required from time to time

The candidate must possess:

• Strong quantitative skills with in-depth knowledge of DCM methods/ processes

• Highly developed presentation skills

• A proactive and energetic personality with the ability and desire to multitask across both development and execution areas.

• The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in Investment Banking

• Be conversant with Bloomberg and other DCM related market sources

• Fluent in English and Russian
