Our Strategy and M&A team sits at the very core of Uzum and makes a strong impact for the Company’s success via strategy formulation, execution of strategic transactions and complex problem solving.
Currently we are looking for a strong candidate to join the team and play an integral role in the projects related to M&A, commercial partnerships, market/equity research and fundraising. You will have an exposure to the top-management team and have a chance to a take a leading role in strategic development of a leading digital ecosystem in the Central Asia Region.
Key Responsibilities:
Participation in team projects (M&A, commercial partnerships, strategic development, etc.);
Preliminary analysis and execution of M&A transactions;
Active participation in due diligence process;
Сommunication with external advisers;
Preparation of analytical; presentations, market analysis, ad-hoc research tasks;
Preparation of complex financial / operational models;
Valuation / fundamental analysis of potential investment opportunities;
Origination of new investment opportunities;
Lead select internal workstreams.
Key Requirements:
Excellent financial modelling skills;
Strong knowledge of corporate finance and valuation;
Knowledge of M&A transaction documentation;
3-5 years of previous experience in investment banks; PE / VC funds; internal M&A corporate development departments;
Experience with IT / tech related companies or with investment funds focused on tech industries is strongly preferred;
Critical thinking, high motivation, strong team player;
Fluent English (verbal and written);
Passed CFA levels is a plus;
Multitasking and self-starting;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
