Subject to successful completion of internship you will receive a full-time Analyst position in Special Situations Group
Ozon.Fintech is an internal startup within the leading Russian e-commerce player. We are building a rapidly growing neobank / fintech with ambitions to become the leading player in the Russian financial services / banking market for consumers and SMEs
Experience and education
Recent graduates and final-year students from NES, HSE, MSU, MIPT or winners of olympiads
0.5 – 1 year of professional experience in management consulting, equity research, VC / PE, in-hous corporate development or strategy departments, or leading tech giants and startups (as product management or business analyst intern)
Functions:
Identify and launch new products: from finding a new stream, creating its strategy and launch plan to preparing an MVP and handing over the project to a product manager (often new hired) and developers
Be at the forefront of tech innovations, conduct in-depth market research, analyze the most recent trends and best practices in Russia and globally
Create the strategy and vision for both individual products and the entire fintech stream
Analysis of unit economics, economic feasibility and business plan for various initiatives (including existing and new products as well as M&As)
Generation of new product ideas that can bring an order of magnitude improvements
Interact with product and business unit leaders
Create consistent and concise presentations for C-level executives; provide analysis and recommendations to assist with strategic decision making
Profile
We are looking for an extraordinary, highly-motivated, intellectually curious person with can-do attitude who is passionate about tech industry and want to embrace challenging tasks and a steep learning curve
Structured thinking and communication (both written and oral), openness to feedback
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Skills:
Strong quantitative, problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
VBA, SQL, Python and other programming languages is a plus
Fluent English (both written and oral)
