The Position
The job holder will be a significant part of Infrastructure Capital & Project Finance team and will be based in Moscow. The position is responsible for managing IC&PF investments and transactions and assisting the Head of IC&PF to execute relevant business strategy.
Principal Responsibilities
Assisting the Head of IC&PF in building a strong IC&PF team;
Investigate, prioritise and exploit where appropriate new business opportunities for ownership, project financing, advisory and acquisition (with refinancing, distribution and ultimate sale) of infrastructure assets to maximise VTB Group profitability and business development;
Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant global events, trends and Infrastructure & Project Finance market developments to help ensure that IC&PF is well positioned to take advantage of the opportunities available to profit from infrastructure financing and investment;
Establish and maintain strong relations with construction, operating and consulting counterparties to ensure the ability to assemble successful and competitive consortia;
Establish and maintain strong relations with equity providers to ensure that ability to transfer concession equity at the best returns;
Responsible for delivery of assigned part of IC&PF budget;
Develop, motivate and manage junior members of the IC&PF team and be involved in their development and knowledge base;
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all regulatory registrations required by the unit and ensure that all required business activities and staff are appropriately registered.
Responsible for all responses to Compliance and Audit issues and establishing an appropriate system to elevate unresolved findings within the unit.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
Infrastructure Capital & Project Finance experience in an investment bank, infrastructure fund or an advisory firm;
Masters Degree in Finance or related subject;
Professional Accounting qualification desirable.
