Associate M&A

Novus Capital specializes in M&A advisory for mid market transactions in Russia, the CIS countries and the Baltic States. We specialize in pharmaceutical and technology sectors as well as work in media, logistics and FMCG sectors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Origination and evaluation of M&A opportunities

· Preparation of teasers and information memorandums

· Managing analysts' work

· Preparation of financial models

· Participation in the preparation of transaction documents (term sheets, SPAs, APAs and other contracts)

· Due diligence coordination

· Participation in negotiations

· Pursuing and closing M&A deals according to set targets

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Higher Education in Economics or Finance in top Russian Universities (HSE, NES, MSU, FA, MGIMO are preferred)

· CFA Level 1 or 2 is a plus

· Master degree / MBA is a plus

· Excellent analytical skills

· Fluent English

· Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

LIKELY / NECESSARY EXPERIENTIAL BACKGROUND: Over 3 years of experience in M&A, valuation or due diligence in BIG4 companies, investment banks or M&A advisory boutiques COMPETENCIES:

· Strong corporate finance and valuation skills

· Understanding of M&A process and its key stages

· Strong analytical, writing and communication skills

· Stress resistance

· High motivation

· Readiness to take responsibility

· Ability to work independently and overtime
