Responsibilities may vary at any point in time but will consist of the following underlying areas:
Organization of reporting process (consolidation process, monthly and quarterly GRF, annual stand-alone/consolidated FS for companies within the Group);
Monitoring of implementation of Group methodologies;
Assistance in set up of IFRS reporting functions in new locations;
Preparation of financial statements to comply with all regulatory filing requirements, including Annual and Interim Reports.
Preparation of accounting policies;
Analysis of complex accounting issues;
Cooperation with various departments within the entity (BAC, MIS, Tax, IT etc.) in respect of accounting and reporting issues;
Communication with auditors and reporting teams.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
Education / Experience:
Top 10 universities with technical or economic background.
Minimum 1 years of experience in an audit company (Big4) and/or relevant industry experience (leasing company/bank).
ACCA/CFA/CPA qualification is a plus.
Good understanding of accounting/reporting processes.
Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
High degree of competence with Microsoft product range and especially with MS Excel/Access, SQL.
Ability to optimize, reengineer and manage complex processes.
Ability to manage the delivery of information and analysis under significant time pressures.
Good decision making and team management experience.
Result orientated and self-motivated.
Language skills – English (upper-intermediate or higher).
