M&A Intern

Raiffeisen Bank’ Investment Banking Department is looking for an intern for M&A Team (Merges & Acquisitions, Strategic Advisory) to assist the team in obtaining and running M&A and M&A-related transactions. It’s going to be a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extending.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • 50% of time: Pitch books, letters and other presentations, including potential and existing clients’ approach (PowerPoint and Word)

  • 20% of time: Market research

  • 20% of time: Assist junior team members in Excel-based financial modeling and valuation

  • 10% of time: Random and administrative tasks


  • Understanding of M&A / IB requirements

  • Knowledge of corporate finance

  • Technical skills: basic valuation and financial modeling, understanding of accounting principles

  • Extremely attentive to detail and quality of documents produced

  • Ability to extract the most important points in a shortened form from a text/data

  • Fluent English (and Russian!)

  • Highly motivated; Team player

  • As advantage: any experience / education abroad
