VTB Group’s Investment Business is searching for an individual to join us as an Intern (VTB JUNIOR) at Credit, Leveraged Finance and Investments Department (International desk).
CLFI is a part of VTB Group’s investment business. Its International desk focuses on the clients in ASIA and CEEMEA, covering a wide range of debt financing products, including:
Acquisition financing, LBO, MBO, pre-M&A bridge loans
Buybacks – bonds refinancing, equity products (take private financings, dividend recapitalizations)
Corporate credit – term loans, working capital and capex financing, ECA-covered financing, general corporate needs
Shareholder financing / structured repo
Commodity-linked financing
Sovereign loans
During the programme you will have an opportunity to build your professional network and develop knowledge of investment business in general, whilst focusing on debt financing / CLFI products. At the end of the programme, successful Interns may be offered a permanent placement based on our business needs and your performance.
The position requires close involvement in each stage of due diligence and deal execution process.
The main day to day responsibilities of the individual in this role are:
Assisting analysts and associates in completion and delivery of credit analysis (including financial models and analytical credit memos)
Market research, data gathering (including calls with clients)
Participating in preparation of the full set of documents necessary for internal credit process;
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (finished in 2017/2018 or current bachelor’s student) in any field, but with basic corporate finance skills
Strong analytical and financial / quantitative / modelling skills
Pro-active attitude with ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent writing and verbal skills, fluency in Russian and English
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to operate in both structured and unstructured environments is also a must
