Job description:
We are looking for an independent, entrepreneurial and driven professional to help rapidly accelerate our M&A funnel. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to support the team with sourcing opportunities, due diligence, financial modelling and M&A valuation, writing investment memos.
Other responsibilities include:
Source attractive investment opportunities via proprietary channels, connecting with the Amazon FBA community, and building broker relationships
Work with our internal data scientists to ensure you have access to the right data to help you find attractive opportunities
Use software like Helium10 and Jungle Scout to aid you in your sourcing activities
Assess potential acquisition opportunities quickly and present attractive finds to the management
Write data-driven investment memos that comprehensively convey the opportunity at hand
Use standard M&A valuation techniques (DCF, Transaction Comps) to determine the value of the acquisition target and make proposals to management using sensitivity analyses
Analyze historical financial information and build standard M&A financial models to conduct financial due diligence
Deep-dive into the market, the competitive landscape, supplier agreements to assess the commercial viability of the opportunity
Job requirements:
You have any relevant experience (via an internship or similar) in consulting/ corporate finance/ operations
You have the ability to dig through data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and impeccable attention to detail
You have the ability to handle aggressive deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with fire drills coming up on a near-daily basis
You be a highly analytical self-starter who can manage multiple projects and figure out complex problems without a lot of oversight
You have a positive get things done attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoy working with different types of people
You are quite proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
You have a some understanding of M&A, Company Valuations, Financial Models and Financial Statements
Terms:
Range 100-150k RUB/ mo, depends on experience, etc.
